Young Paddlers Get to Train With Foreign Talents

I saw this headline in Sinolinx today.  The quote was from The Star Online, Kuala Lumpur Sunday August 24, 2003.

Wow!  Did KL use paddles?  Eagerly I got Google to search for The Star Online.

Disappointment!  It was all about ping-pong players!

The End

This is more of a startle to me than a mini-saga.  There have been some mini-saga's that really took some great creativity and so rate higher from my perspective.

This is missing a key-element for the contest...a spanking.  Nor did I leap to the same conclusion the author did upon seeing the title.  So for me, this entry lacked the impact which the author tried to convey.

This story is great.  It is a nice bit of humor that makes the reader laugh.  What makes this story so good is that it is something so many of us have done, saw a headline that might or might not have been about spanking and checked it out.  I like the style of the writing, as if it is an ad or something.  All in all this was a good read.
