Upon your knees I find you in your place
Awaiting retribution as agreed.
Delightful apprehension fills your face,
As I prepare to meet this crucial need.

A sacrifice, both soul and body bared,
You stretch across the altar of my knee.
And while, in guilt, you're presently ensnared,
Through this catharsis, you shall soon be free.

My thoughts run wild, as I begin to lift
My arm into the air to strike your cheek.
This "punishment" is one another's gift.
Yes, this relationship is what we seek.

Without you, Little One, I'd have no peace,
For your submission brings me my release.

Very thoughtful and lovely.  I'm not a poetry critic at all (never did well with it in school) but I thought this flowed nicely and showed so much in the verse.  I liked it.

Even though I am not a big fan of poetry, I found this to be quite entertaining.  There were a couple of spots where the breaks were a bit rough, but they do not detract from the overall effect.  I find myself looking forward to finding A Spanking Sonnet and reading.

Overall, a very decent job.
