Ketil's Saga -- the Outtake

By

Sem <sem28442@hotmail.com>

Ketil the crafty
Valiant Viking
Burst into barn
Where wench had hid
Listed his lineage
All of his ancestors
"Now you can name
Your next son's sire"

"Kevin?" she quavered

Facing her floorward
Rending her raiment
Beating her buttocks
Ketil corrected her
Long was his lineage
A sore seat loomed

The End

This is different
A throwback perhaps
In style old fashioned
With designs understood
The hero triumphs
Author done good.

This is a cute little story.  I can't say that I quite understand what she was corrected for, except perhaps hiding and not calling him sir.  Funny how many subies forget that one....  Anyway it's interesting how you can paint a picture with so few words, and with such a nice rhythm.

Not sure what else to say except that I really, really liked this fun, alliterative piece!!  Nicely done!
