Welcome...
and thank you for visiting my ASSTR website.
Writing update
All,
I've been slower in writing that I would like but I'm making progress. I'm almost finished with the first draft of my non-erotic, merely romantic, mystery. That leads me to another subject that you might find interesting.
I've been listening to an podcast by a group of amateur writers that some of you might find interesting. I wanted to bring them to your attention. The Dead Robot's Society.

They also have a growing forum where the aspects of writing and story telling are discussed.

If you have an interest, take a listen and stick your head into the forums. They are very friendly folks.
You might wonder what that has to do with you. Allow me to tell you.
As a bonus, they have set up a password locked forum for posting stories so they are not freely available to the general public. That way stories that you might want to sell are not counted as freely distributed, but still can be read and commented on. I've posted the first three chapters of my work in progress there. I intend to post it all there in the coming weeks, chapter by chapter.
So, if you want to read what I've been up to, I urge you to register and send the moderator a private message for the password to the locked forum. Since it _is_ for writing critiques, post your thoughts on what is working and what doesn't. And share your stuff and we'll comment on it.
For your consideration.

If you like what you see here, that's great -- feel free to let me

make a story (or the site) better, I'm open to hearing those ideas as
well. You'll find a Feedback link on the left sidebar of just about every

This site and most of the stories on it would not exist if not for the
friendship and support of several people:
-
Nick Scipio
,
who's Jazz Club stories inspired me to begin writing
-
Dark Vision
,
who continues to urge me on when I need it
-
Strickland
,
who has been a steadfast supporter since I wrote my first word
Thanks,
