Hi, in April 1998 I changed my life dramatically. I realised that I’d got into one hell of a boring rut and that I needed to do something about it. A chance look at a never been seen before magazine gave me the opportunity to do something about it. With a lot of courage I took the plunge and it turned out to be the best decision that I ever made.
For the first 16 months of my new job my employer (Jon) got me to keep a Journal of everything that I did that I found ‘interesting’.
One or two people who have already read parts of my Journal have asked for me to send them a photo of me so I asked Jon if he thought that it would be a good idea to publish a photo of me on this page. He said ‘no’, Sorry.
The whole Journal just about fills a Floppy Disk so don’t be surprised if some of the pages take a while to load.

My friend Debbie has decided that she would like to publish her story. It's her version of some of the stories that she told me that I've included in my Journal, but it also includes a lot more. Debbie can't type so I've keyed it all in. We've had quite a bit of fun while doing so, and it's been quite difficult to concentrate at times.
Jon has told me to document some of the more 'interesting' experiences that we've had since I finished my Journal.

For
a while now Jon and I have been searching the internet for ideas for little
expeditions / challenges for me. We’ve managed to find some that we’ve done
‘our’ version of, but along the way Jon has collected a number of stories
that he liked. We have no idea who wrote most of them, or if they are fiction or
true stories. We don’t care. We enjoyed them, and they have given us some
ideas for fun. Jon has asked me to post some of them on my web site, so here
they are.
I do hope that the authors of them are not upset by me posting them here. If they are and they let me know I will remove them immediately.
