"What are you humming, Dan?"

"I'm not humming about Dan; I'm humming about Wanda."

"About me? Sing the words."

"Praise the mount, imhmmh hmmhmmhmm, mount of thy hmmhmmhmm love."

"Blasphemy! That's not what the song's about."

"Well, maybe I've changed a few words. But this is the mount I want to praise right now."

"You're impossible!"

"No, my love...,"

"... Merely unlikely. I know all your jokes. Not that I'm objecting to what you're doing with my mount. But I can think of better things for your mouth than humming."

. . .

"Like that?"

"Just like that."

"But the song is so appropriate. Streams of mmhmm never ceasing call for songs of loudest praise."

"Not too loud. The Murrays will hear."

"Okay. Songs of quiet praise, then. Every time I hang a picture I'm afraid the nail will come out their wall. Time for humming again."

"Oh Dan! I love when you kiss me like that. But come up."

"That's an invitation you don't have to repeat. Mmm, you feel even better than you taste. Praise the mount I'm fixed upon it, mount of thy mmhmm love."

"You'll make me blush the next time we sing that in church."

"Here I raise my ebenezer, hither by thy help I'm come. Ever wonder what 'ebenezer' meant?"

"It doesn't mean that. Please move now."

"Oh, yes. Do you feel that?"

"Yes. Oh, Dan."

"Wanda!"
