THE ABBEY OF SAINT GEORGE

Welcome tothe Abbey of Saint George. Here you will find the collected writings of a dragon slayer. The dragons that St. George attempts to slay are those caused by myths created to control the forces of nature.

Saint George is no longer with us. He departed this life in March of 2005, leaving behind some unpublished works. His friends, working alongside his wife and children, retrieved the unfinished works from his computer, edited and formatted them, and began posting them. There is "The Newlyweds" (a  sequel to "The Do-It-Yourself Project") and one more chapter to "The 1960's". He was at work on the second chapter of "The Newlyweds" only hours before he passed away.  When the second chapter is posted, it will contain a summary of the rest of the plot, drawn from conversations we had with him and the notes he left behind. The same will be done for "The 1960's". In this way, his spirit lives on among us.

For now, the Abbey of St. George is shuttered, the pen lying motionless upon its half-filled pad, and I am sure that Father Tim is leading the student body in prayer for our lost comrade.
