In The Friday Knight Writers' Lounge Lady Friday admonished me to work on a story.

My response follows:

Slave Driver

Whoosh! Crack!!
The sound of whip on flesh.

A scream of agony, echoing.
Leather biting into naked flesh.

A whimper from the lowly slave.
The laugh of a demanding Mistress.

The flickering glow of torches.
A dark room, dimly lit.

A heavy oak table in the center.
Four naked men sit working.

The Mistress flicks her whip.
"Write damn you! Write!"
