Quantum Mechanic's Favorite Authors�

Note -: The list below will be organized, as much as I can arrange, by genre. Other than that, there is no particular order. I may update it from time to time, but it is neither complete nor exhaustive, and probably never will be.

For some authors, I may list specific stories or books as favorites, and for others, I will not. In general,where I list specific stories, it just means that I like those specific stories. It may be that I haven't read enough of the author's work to decide if I most of it. When you see an author's name without a story list, it means that I've read a lot of his/her stuff, and that I like most, if not all, of it. - QM

*Special Note: Sometime early in 2008, one of my favorite authors removed his works from ASSTR. I have since been informed that he no longer wishes to attributed with the excellent stories he posted here, but that he doesn't mind if others maintain archives of those stories. A number of the stories can be found in the Thinking Horndog's Swarm Cycle pages, under the apellation "Just Jack." I am currently investigating the feasibility of recovering and consolidating other stories by this author, for presentation in a special set of pages on this site.
