A Recipe For Salad

Let there be peas on Earth,

And serve them with string beans.

Let there be peas on Earth,

Much better than collard greens.

Not cauliflower. Never broccoli.

There's a pod like no other,

It's just the one for me.

 

Let peas begin with me,

Put them on my plate right now.

With every bite I take,

This will be my solemn vow.

To take each legume, and eat each legume,

They taste so good to me!

Let there be peas on Earth,
