Latessa Davis, a mature black professional woman, had been an executive at a large company. A market downturn costs her her job. Her husband Tom's salary isn't enough to support them as well as send their teenage daughter to college. Tom's employer, Jack, offers to help by hiring Latessa as a domestic servant in his home. She soon discovers just what services she must provide to Jack and his family in her new position.
