During a recent visit by my niece we decided to go for a walk through the local woods which we have done umpteen times before. There is lots of wildlife that you can see which my niece enjoys such as rabbits, squirrels, foxes and badgers etc. I say my niece but we are more like big brother and little sister.

During this visit she asked if she could take the familiar jump ropes with her. I asked her why and she said that if she got bored for a while we could play a game in the woods. I said oh alright. She did not get bored but did she have a game to play with them. We followed lots of paths in the wood and when you are quite deep in the woods it is quite remote but as someone who has played in that woods when I was a child myself and who regularly takes the dog for a whalk there I know every leaf and twig there so we were in no danger of being lost, we both laughed and had lots of fun there.

We sat down on some logs for a rest and she brought some sandwiches out of her small pink barbie ruck sack that she had around her back. She also brought out the jump ropes and smirked. I said I feel a game coming up here and she giggled. She said I am going to run away and you have to capture me and bring me back and tie me up. She took her ruck sack off and put it down near the logs as she said she could run better without it on her. Then she started giggling and ran off. After a short while I put on my best Dennis Hopper baddie voice and said ok kid im comming to get yah. Now the way she went I knew she would not get very far as there was a river there and she would not cross it without me there. It was not deep but had quite a fast flowing water and she would have to cross over a tree trunk which is crossing it. I know she would go a different way when arriving there. It was not long before I heard some movement in some nearby bushes. I said here I come, she tried to run out of the bushes but I caught her and said I'm taking you back to where the ruck said and ropes are and Im gonna tie you up so that you don't escape again.

When whe arrived at the logs I took one piece of jump rope and she put her hands behind her back ready. I tied them in my usual fashion in which her hands are crossed over then tied. I took the other piece of jump rope and tied her legs together. I now sat down and ate some of my sandwiches and watched her wriggling and struggling on the ground and smiling the same time.

Now I did not know where she learnt it from but after a little while she managed to slip her hands underneath he bum and then slipped her hands past one leg at a time so that her hands were now tied up in front of her. She smirked and as I sat there dumbfounded she struggled to her feet and started hopping away. I chased after my giggling niece who thought she had outsmarted me and I said right I am comming to get you again and Im gonna tie you up so that you cant escape and just for that I'm gonna tickle you as well. She said nooooo no noo nooo and giggled consitently as she tried to get away. I caught her no probs, well being as she was still tied hand and foot she had no chance.

I undid both her legs and arms and said I am gonna tie you between two trees so that you cannot escape. She put her arms up touching two trees and I said no not like that, lie down. I took one of her arms and tied it to a nearby tree and then took her other arm and tied itto another trunk the other side.

She tried it but could not escape. I told her I would be back in a while as I was desperate to take a leek and went behind some nearby bushed. I now ran out of rope and wondered what I was gonna do about her legs. As I was taking my leek I looked up across to some trees and as luck would have it spied a piece of rope hanging down from one of them.

It was a rope that someone used as a swing. I climbed up to the branch it was on and undid it. There was also a thick branch tied to the other side of the rope that someone could climb or sit on and I untied that as well. With my new piece of rope I went back to my niece who was still tied and then said look what I have found. She said your going to tie my legs arn't you.

I said of course and took one leg and tied it around a nearby tree and the rope was long enough to go around another nearby tree and I tied it to her other leg so now she was tied in a spreadeagle fashion around 4 trees. She wriggled and struggled for a bit but could not get out of this. I said ok now for the tickle. She screamed ohhh nooooooo and wriggled like mad but in vain.

I decided to work upwards and took her pink barbie wellies off (she is barbie mad). I then started tickling her socked feet and she howled and screeched.

I then tickled behind her knees, a place she seemed to be very ticklish. I then pulled up her sweater a little bit and started tickling her tummy, she was by now screeching and screeming continously. I now started on her underarms with which she screemed like mad and squirmed from side to side as I tickled her underarms.

I decided I was not finished yet so I went back and forth and tickled her underarms and tummy with one hand and tickled her two feet back and forth with the other hand. She was now squirming and struggling all over the place and howling and screeming at the top of her voice. It was starting to get dark a little now so I said ok it's time to go home.

I decided to play one last prank on her before we went home as a payback for the hundreds of pranks she plays on me all the time. I put her pink wellies back on her completely tickled feet and took her ruck sack and put it on her. I said ok, let's go and starting walking away and when you in the house. She smirked and said very funny. I started walking away and when out out of view hid behind a tree.

After a few mins she started becoming quite worried and started struggling trying to free herself. Another couple of mins passed and she started getting even more worried. She started pulling at the ropes to see if they would come loose but to no avail. Then I decided to make another appearance and said jokinly oops I knew I forgot something and she started laughing.

I knew you had not gone she said and I said of course you know I would not leave you here. I untied her and she put the ropes back in her rucksack. We went home and she said she very much enjoyed playing in the woods. She said she was looking forward to the next time she came to visit as she always has a lot of fun with me. I smirked and said we always do Claire.
