I grabbed our food and then we both got out of the car. "This way, Sean." I said, as I led him to the door to the kitchen. We entered, and I grabbed a plate for each of us to eat on. I served Sean his happy meal, and I sat down to eat my own bacon cheeseburger.

"Sean, you go ahead and eat. I will be right back, I just need to make a phone call.", I lied. Instead, I went back to the garage and started looking for what I would need. "Yes, this will do just fine." I thought to myself. I used a utility knife to cut several lengths of rope, and I stuffed them into coat pockets. I also grabbed a small roll of duct tape.

I walked back into the kitchen, and I could see that Sean was almost done eating. I swallowed, not looking forward to what was going to come next.

"Sean, are you finished eating?"

"Yes. Can I go home now?"

"Sean, I need to tell you something important. What I am going to tell you might scare you, but I want you to know I am not a bad man. I really do like you a lot and I don't like seeing you sad. I think you will be happier living here instead of your house."

Sean interrupted me and said, "But I just want to go home."

"Sean, this is your new home. Don't be afraid, but you are not going to be leaving here. Please just relax and if you want I will give you some chocolate cake I have in the refrigerator. Will you do that for me?"

Like a bolt of lightning, Sean jumped out of his chair and started running toward the garage. I immediately ran after him, and caught him. He was swinging his arms and kicking and shouting "No! I don't want to stay here! Let me go!"

Being as light as he was, it was not too difficult to hold him still. While I held him, I pulled out one of the lengths of rope that I had for this very purpose, and used it to start tying his hands together while I was holding them. Then, I tore a piece of the duct tape and placed it over his mouth, silencing his screams. I proceeded to tie his hands behind his back very tight, the whole while he thrashed about and tried very hard to get away.

I picked up his body, and carried him to the living room holding him at an angle to avoid him from kicking me. I set him onto the couch, and then I tied his legs together. I knew that this was final, there is no way I could go back now. Even if I decided to drive him home, I would be in a world of trouble. For better or for worse, he was now my boy.

For about ten minutes, Sean continued to struggle and make muffled screams into the duct tape covering his mouth. Then, finally, the struggling started to stop.

"Sean, don't struggle. I did not want to tie you up but you left me with no choice. I am not going to hurt you.", I said. I sat next to the tied up little boy and I began to gently stroke his hair, and try to comfort him. "Sean, it will be ok. I'm not going to hurt you. Just relax."

Finally Sean began to realize that he was not getting out of this predicament, and should start to make the most of it. Once he calmed down enough, I said to him, "I am going to remove this tape now. If you scream then it is going to go back on. But you can talk. Will you scream if I take it off?"

He shook his head no. I then went into the kitchen and grabbed some dish soap. Then I very carefully started to peel away the duct tape from his mouth, seeing as it slightly pulled the skin of his lips and cheek with it. I rubbed the soap onto the tape to make it easier to pull off. Finally the tape was off with little to no pain to Sean.

"Let me go!", Sean said. He wasn't yelling, but only the threat of having his mouth taped shut prevented it. "Sean, I can't let you go. This is your new home, and you will be living here from now on."

"I don't want to live here! I want to go back to my house!", he responded. I sighed, knowing this was going to be a long process. At around this time I started to regret my decision. When I thought about taking this boy to my house, I never considered just how much time and effort would be involved. Now I found myself with an even MORE unhappy boy tied up on my couch begging to let him go, which was obviously something I could not do.

I knew that trying to talk sense into this kid was useless. I sat down on the couch next to him and put my face in my hands in frustration. The whole while I sat there, Sean kept begging though not shouting to go home.

"Sean, please stop doing that. You are not going home, and that's final. If you keep begging then I will need to put tape on your mouth again and I don't want to do that. You can talk about something else if you want."

Sean just responded, "But I want you to take me home NOW!". He spoke very forcefully, like someone in charge. I was sure that he had to be scared, but he was also quite good at hiding it.

"Sean, I warned you.", I said, as I placed another piece of duct tape over his mouth. "You need to learn that you have to follow my rules."

The truth is, I did not put the tape on because I wanted Sean to learn discipline. I put the tape on because I couldn't stand the begging and I was growing frustrated.

"There, peace and quiet. It is late, and we should get to sleep. I am sorry that you have to sleep like this, but I don't trust you not to try to get away."

I picked up the tied up boy bundle and started walking upstairs to my bedroom. I laid him on the bed, and he started crying. "Sean, it's ok. Don't cry. You will see, everything will be fine." I said, although the truth is I didn't even know myself if that was the case or not.

I laid him as comfortable in the bed as I could, given his bondage. Then I stripped out of my clothes, leaving just my underwear on. I did not want to intimidate the child in my bed any further, but also I don't like sleeping with all of my clothes on.

I used a length of rope to tie Sean's wrist bindings to one of the posts on the headboard of the bed, while I tied another length of rope to connect the bindings of his ankles to a post at the foot of the bed. "There", I thought, "That should keep him here until morning at least."

"Good night Sean.", I said, and then I started drifting to sleep. The task was not easy, with the squirming and noisy mass of boy next to me, but I managed. Tomorrow was going to be interesting to say the least.

It's surely an interesting pace and eventually Sean'll need a little brother.
