Tomorrow to know
If she is real
Face unseen, voice unheard
Except by pixels and packets

Do pixels deceive?
Do packets whisper lies
Into my ear so longs to
Hear her love declared

The song she sings
A euphony? Or a siren
Serenade does beckon me
To the depths of the oily sea
I shall embrace if she is but
A figment of the ones
Who wish to capture me

My body bound shall not
Enslave my liberty is the
Only currency I still hold
Is useless in this land where
Bravery and freedom
Are the prisoners of
Ignorance and fear

My love-a proffered hand
They claim entraps the mind
And body of the girl I love
More dearly than my life

She is the queen who reigns
Within my heart shall faithful
Ever be-even if a nary breath
Upon this world she took
