She was ushered to a curtained alcove and asked to wait. She thought about what they had learned regarding the fate of SG-11. At least, the families could be notified and begin to gain some closure. As she sat on the examination table, she still felt the rush she always got from an offworld mission. She knew this would translate into a hot night for her and her lover. She could hardly wait until she got out from under Cheyenne Mountain. She also couldn't wait to get rid of the camouflage greasepaint she had on. Sam felt ridiculous, like someone in a bad war movie with Charlie Sheen. Janet Fraiser swept in past the curtain, all smiles. "And how do we feel, Major?" "WE feel like getting the hell out of here and..." Sam blushed slightly. Even after all this time, she was still uncomfortable talking to Janet about sex, at least in the Complex. "So, you managed to convince those boys that Apophis is dead?" Sam nodded at Janet's question. "Was there ever any doubt?" Janet smiled, "Well, since you had to get Cassie to set up the Playstation...yeah, there was." Janet placed her palm lightly on Sam's green and black cheek, moving up to her forehead before cupping her chin. "You look so sexy like this," Janet whispered into Sam's ear. Sam felt a tingle from the warm breath but said, "Janet, what about the security cams?" "Down for routine maintenance. Will be for the rest of the day," the brunette explained, moving her hand up to Sam's cheek caressingly. Sam smiled when she saw the red light on the camera was out. 'Now why didn't I notice that before?' Janet leaned closer, "Whenever you come back through the Gate, I want to jump you in the Gateroom." She then pressed her lips to Sam's. Sam opened her mouth and they shared tongues in a loving, erotic dance until they were both gasping for air. As they stared into each other's eyes, a loud voice came through the curtain. "Hey, Doc! You finished in there? Hammond wants us for the debriefing and I want us cleaned up before that." "Damn!" Sam whispered. "If it's not Daniel, it's Jack!" Janet called back, "Almost done here, Colonel." Sam smiled and pointed to Janet's mouth, "Better clean that off before someone asks you where the circus is." Janet glanced in the mirror near the sink, seeing a smear of green and black paint around her mouth. She noticed that Sam's mouth and cheeks were partially clear of greasepaint, too. "Oh God!" Janet exclaimed as both women began to laugh. At that moment, Jack opened the curtain and Janet quickly spun away. "Well, looks like you two are having a regular comedy fest in here," he said laconically. "Carter, what happened to your mouth?" "Oh, uh, Doctor Fraiser wanted to check the cut on my cheek for any signs of infection." Sam was rather proud at how quickly she came up with her excuse. "Yeah, okay. Well, it the Doc is done with you, go grab a shower and get rid of the rest of it. I'd like to be home for Monday Night Football," Jack said as he exited the Med Center. "Good thinking Sam," Janet sighed. "Where're the damned alcohol swabs?" Still worked up from the kiss, Sam said, "Finish this later?" "You can count on it!" Janet declared, wiping her mouth. Sam looked around then quickly kissed Janet before walking out of the Med Center. Janet smiled and sighed, thinking of what the night had in store. (c) John O'ConnerComments May Be Mailed Here
