The film stars with Howard dreaming... and in his dream, he is Tom Cruise in a scene from RISKY BUSINESS.  Anyway, the scene is played off for comedy and it sets the pace.  Right from the get go, you learn that Howard and his sister possess a rocky relationship... and after a little interaction with his sister's two friends and the girl next door, you clearly see that Howard and Tom are really quite the opposite from one another.  You also will note that Howard and Tiffany appear to have a sweet lighthearted chemistry between one another.

The supporting cast executes perfectly as Howard accidentally delivers one command after another, but things turn outright hilarious when Howard discovers his new powers.  Surprisingly, you don't see your first glimpse of nudity until about a third of the way through the movie when Howard fantasizes about his sister's friends in a Jacuzzi with him.  Trust me... you won't be disappointed... and when you hear the word 'now' from that point forward, you'll do so with a smile on your face.

Each of you will have your own preference as to the most memorable scene, and mine is when Howard is looking down from his bedroom window at the two bikini-clad sunbathing hotties.  I ask you, if you had mind control powers, what would you have them do?  I'm sure you get the picture... and to top it off, PRETTY COOL even goes one step further providing yet another, even more potent, erotic mind control moment.

The actress, Amy Brassette, performed convincingly in a variety of roles, but it was Cecilia Bergquist who stole the show while portraying Chuck's character trapped inside her body!  I also laughed the hardest during the classroom scene when Howard mind controls the school's jerk up to the chalkboard, implants a near naked image of Miss Perkins (Holly Sampson), and... well... I don't want to give you too much, but lets say the funniest scene in the film unfolds!

There's also a great girl's locker room scene... where Chuck can't be heard or seen.  Rolfe plays it for slapstick comedy and pulls it off!  Trust me... there a tons more scenes... and I can't recommend this film enough.  As the film progresses, Tiffany, who Howard has a crush on, sees something that she perceives as sick, not realizing that there's an innocent explanation for what she's seen.  This forces Howard to seek out Ms. Perkins, the secret agent, who can fix the mess he's in.  Meanwhile, Howard's sister finds herself part cat - part human thanks to another magical device and wouldn't you know it - she's in HEAT!

Rolfe Kanefsky ties everything together as Howard sees the light and confesses to Tiffany about "Tom".  He also uses his mind control powers one last time in order to allow Tiffany access to what really happened... and the ending sends a feel good message eliciting smiles all around.  :-)
