CREDITS AND STUFF

First of all, Rewind is being edited by the talented Mycroftxxx. He’s also doing Naked High for me. He’s done some editing right along, most especially for the Reverend Cotton Mather’s Playing The Game series—and you all know how clean that is. So, Mycroft knows his stuff.

I also have a proofreader, who preferes to remain nameless. But she knows what she means to me. Thanks, sweetie.

Here you can find a very badly drawn map of Cabot, Massachusetts, the setting for much of our story.

I’ve done more research on Rewind than I have on anything else I’ve ever written. A lot of it is dates. Now, some of that, I did not have to research (for instance, the date of John Lennon’s death is forever etched into my mind.) Some of it, however, I did. For a lot of it, I just used google . For instance, in trying to remember the dates for Boston’s famous Blizzard of 78, I just googled it.

A site I used extensively was Time and Date . It was invaluable for such things as "What day was this date on?"

I got movie release date information from the Internet Movie Database . I got some good record release date information from The Eighties Exchange . A lot of record release date information came from my personal collection, or from memory, but I checked a lot of my memory at that site. Information about Bruce Springsteen concert setlists came from the Brucebase .

I also consulted a couple of books. The dates for the 1980 Olympics and a refresher-course for some of the details came from David Wallechinsky’s "Complete Book of the Winter Olympic." And the details of February 2, 1978 (ugh) came from Dan Shaughnessy’s "The Curse of the Bambino."
