Ladies, I'd like to learn how to make the female characters in my stories more plausible, and how I can make what I write more appealing to women. So if you'd be so kind, I would greatly appreciate your taking the time to fill out however much of this little question-and-answer page as you're comfortable with.

For any guys that happen to have a look, please resist any temptation to fill this thing out and send it off. Granted, I'd never know — but unless you're doing it under the direction of an actual person of the female persuasion, you'll likely just screw up what I'm trying to learn here. THANKS!

I hope that you'll complete all of this (it might look like a lot, but I'm only making sure I give you room to write what you want to say), but if there's some particular question you're not comfortable with, that's fine. I'd also like to say that you're MORE than welcome to send me a separate (anonymous or not, it's up to you) email (via my feedback page) to add anything else that you'd like to tell me in addition to the general comments area at the end of this. I really DO want to try to get this kind of stuff right!

Puberty & teens

What age would you say you were when puberty started for you?

When puberty started for you, did you and your friends compare how things were going? If so, how (talking, looking, touching, _____)?

At what age did masturbation really start working for you? How did you find out (ie friend showed you, saw someone else, discovered yourself)?

How did you feel about masturbation at the time (shameful, greatest thing since PBJ, dirty, normal, _____)?

What did you do to/with yourself (touching, tasting, etc)?

How old were you when you had your first orgasm?

When you were going through puberty, did you do any practising or exploring with other girls? If so, how much of what, with who?

When you were starting to develop physically, and compared yourself to how other girls were doing, what things did you notice (breast size/shape, nipple size/shape, etc)?

Did you ever get intimate with another girl for the express purpose of orgasm (versus getting carried away 'practising')? How did it happen?

How old were you when you lost your virginity? How and where (carried away in back seat of BF car, planned in your room, etc)?

What was it like for you (easy and liked it, hurt but okay, etc)?

How did you feel about it afterwards (satisfied, wish you'd done it earlier/later, different time/place/guy, etc)?

What kinds of sexual activity or contact did you engage in before losing your virginity? Afterwards?

Is there anything you think was important that I didn't ask, and should know? If so, what?

Adult & grown

What is it that you notice first about guys (face, butt, bulge in pants, chest, etc)?

What kinds of things would you LIKE a guy to do to you?

What really gets you going?

What do you like to do to/for him?

What do guys do that you REALLY hate?

What would you never, ever consider doing?

What do you really, really LIKE to do?

Does size really matter? If so, length, girth, or both?

What do you like/dislike about oral or anal sex?

Could you describe the feelings you get from the first mild arousal to when you climax? (You can SEE what happens with guys; help me understand what it FEELS like for you.)

If you would, please describe to me how you masturbate. (I'm asking so I can better write about it, not to get a thrill. Thanks.)

What do you think I need to know about your grown adult sexuality that I haven't asked about?

Erotica

Have you read erotica before? Do you still read it? Did/do you like it?

If you like(d) some of the erotica, what was it that you liked, and why?

What DIDN'T you like?

What do male erotica authors (always/usually/sometimes) get wrong?

What do male erotica authors (always/usually/sometimes) get right?

What would make you want to read (more of) erotica?

Here's where you can tell me anything else that you think I need to know.

Thanks for filling out however much of the survey you were comfortable with. You can be sure that I'll keep what you had to say in mind as I write future stories — I may still not get it right, but I'm sure going to try to make it better. Of course, you're also more than welcome to provide me with feedback to let me know how I'm doing. Again, THANK YOU.
