Gordie D - The gentle whimsy of the nice guy narrator in Gordie D's work is probably what first inspired me to start writing Year Away. Personal favourites include Japan's Girls Gymnastics Team, Japanese Student Nurses and Korean Swim Team Parts One and Two.

Masakazu Katsura - Katsura's work on such manga masterpieces as I''s and Video Girl Ai provides one of the main inspirations for the Japan Camp Counselors series . Check out the Masakazu Katsura Shrine for a taste of his work.

myuyan (in Japanese) - A Japanese hentai author whose story Satomi I've adapted as Good Girls Bad Boys. Specializes in escalating embarrassment.

Scanlover Forum - a forum for Asian pictures and movies, but a member named avadavat here seems to be one of our biggest fans.

Emi Tsuruta - A Japanese exchange student living in the States who writes about her mischievous adventures playing around outside in the nude. Her new work (check out her ftp site) continues to influence, and inspire.
