Echoes

My life now only echoed
in souls that I have touched
cared fed and nurtured
my nature is never lost

My values now jut memes
to those born of my heart
helping them to grow and learn
inheritors from my start

My children my missionaries
teaching skills I learned in life
adapting each lesson for their own
as they face their daily grind

My gifts ne'er to be forgotten
my lessons to be changed
my sins to be forgiven
my children forever embraced.
