Finally, Freedom...

Another prisoner has been set free
a soul to soar once more
chrysalis broken for once and all
punishment ended now for sure

Life a path wand'r'd to this door
walked along she had since birth
a destination so surely reached
denied to none on earth

The door beckons now open not shut
a spirit to pass on through
welcomed soon to that holy world
promised as God holds it true

Mortals pray to keep their kin
regardless of their age
pray instead, for the will of God
and know when to turn a page.
