The 2004 Golden Clitorides Awards

You can make your nominations for the 2004 "Golden Clitorides Awards" using the form on the 2004 Nominations Page or by sending an e-mail to rui.jorge@gmail.com if you prefer.
The nomination period will end on July 30, 2004.
On July 31, 2004, a list with the finalists (the ones that have received more nominations) in each category will be posted. Voting will then take place to choose the winners in each of those categories.
- Only stories published on the Internet for the first time (with the exception of those nominated for the Classic Clitoride) between July 1, 2003 and June 30, 2004 and that are freely available are eligible to these awards.
- For the "New Author" categories, only those whose first eligible posting occurred between July 1, 2003 and June 30, 2004 are eligible.
- A few notes about the "Golden Clitorides" Story Length categories
- Stories up to 1,000 words are eligible for the "flash story" category.
- Those between 1,000 and 10,000 words are eligible for the "short story" categories.
- Stories above 10,000 are eligible for the 'long story' categories.
- Unfinished stories are eligible only for the "Best Serial" category.
- A note about the "Best Series" and "Best Serial" categories:
- a series is a collection of stories about the same character or characters.
- A serial is one story with a beginning, a middle, and an end posted in parts during a certain period of time.
- Finished serials should be nominated in the "Best Long Story" category.
- Any serial that is finished by the end of the nomination period, and that has been nominated for the "Best Serial" category will be automatically moved to the "long story" category.
- A few notes about the "Golden Clitorides" "special" and "theme" categories:
- Best Erotic Poetry - original erotic poetry, original erotic song lyrics, and original erotic filk (lyrics sung to the tune of a published song) are eligible for this category.
- Best Seasonal Story -- for stories with a seasonal/holiday theme such as Christmas, Valentine's Day, Summer, Halloween, etc.
- Classical Clit - for stories no longer eligible for the Clits but that weren't nominated previously.
- Best Romantic Story - Love and lovers are the basic theme of the story. The sexual activity is mainly consensual. It's not important what kind of sexual activity/kink/fetish the lovers indulge in, or who or how many they are. It just has to be a story about love and lovers.
- Best Same Sex Story - The story has to be mainly a lesbian story or a gay male story.
- Best Mind Control (MC) Story - The Story has to be mainly about mind control.
- Best BDSM (bondage, discipline and sado-masochism) Story - The story has to be mainly about bondage and/or discipline and/or sadomasochism.
- Best Heterosexual Story - The story has to be mainly about some kind of heterosexual sexual activity involving two or more partners.
- Best Humor Story - The story has to be a humorous one.
- Stories can be nominated in more than one theme category.
- A story is eligible for a particular theme category if that theme is at least one of the story's main themes. Whenever possible the story's author will be contacted and asked which theme category, if any, better fits the story.
- If you have difficulty deciding on which theme better fits the story that you want to nominate please e-mail your nomination and I'll do my best to add it to the proper theme category.
- The category called "Sterling Silver" is not subject to the nominations phase, its finalists will be the winners of the "Silver Clitorides Awards" of July 2003 to June 2004. (See below.)
