"The sixth time this week, Chaktoay! It's ridiculous!" Janeway smacked
the palm of her hand on the side of the turbolift. They were stuck --
again.
"At ease, Captain!" Chakotay joked. "B'Elanna said she'd have it
running again in ten minutes." He smiled. "You're acting like it's a
death sentence, Kathryn. Is being stuck in the lift with me _that_
bad?"
"Of course not," she smiled back at him. "It's just frustrating."
"It's not frustrating," he replied, moving closer, "it's an omen."
"An omen?" Kathryn raised her eyebrows.
"Uh-huh." Chakotay's hands caressed her shoulders. "That we should
spend more time together."
