Beverly Crusher winced as Nurse Ogawa gingerly took off her shoe. "The toe's definitely broken. How did it happen?"

"It's nothing --"

"We were in the holodeck," Data interrupted.

"It was nothing," Beverly insisted.

"You had the safties off? That's not like you, Doctor."

"No, the safties were on I assure you."

Had Beverly been able, she would have kicked the android.

"Then how did you break your toe?"

"We were doing the tango," Data said. "I'm afraid I got -- how do you say it? -- a 'little too into it'."

Beverly fumed as Ogawa covered up a snicker.
