Below this point you will find links to other authors and other sites that may very well put my site and my stories to shame. What you will not find are those annoying commercial sites with stories written by people who should be repeating 7th grade. These are my personal picks, sites which I visit frequently.


Story Site Lists

  • Free Story Sites -- A comprehensive list whose purpose is "To promote non-commercial story distribution. To highlight sites that use self-produced or legally obtained content. To offer alternatives to spam story site posts. To maintain an eventually complete/up-to-date list of resources that are not commercially motivated. (This is not the same as completely non-profit.)"

  • EroText -- A non-commercial, highly automated, story site links list with over 300 Rated story links. This site is slow, but very worthwhile. Note this list does link to some commercial sites.

  • Jonnan West's most Literary links -- this is a very nice, and very extensive list of links to story sites. The information is well laid out and it's quick and easy to navigate. They're not all adult sites either!

Mega Sites

  • ASSM Archive -- Over 30,000 leagally stored stories. This site holds every story posted to alt.sex.stories.moderated since 1997. If I could have only one erotic story bookmark this would be it.

  • Alt Sex Stories Text Repository (FTP) -- ASSTR is another massive archive and includes a mirror of ASSM's database. This ftp site allows only a limited number of concurrent users and is fairly hard to navigate and yet it is very much worth the effort.

  • Alt Sex Stories Text Repository (WWW) -- This is the world wide web version of ASSTR. The content is the same but it's easier to navigate and you can do searches.

  • EroticStories.Com -- This is a very nice mega-site. You'll find both gay and straight stories here with a system to track which stories are read most as well as a system to let you rate the quality of those stories. Amazingly enough, despite the domain name, despite the profesionalism of the site -- it's non-commercial.

  • Nifty Erotic Stories Archive -- This site houses Gay and Bisexual stories. The archive is very massive and well mirrored. If you're looking for stories on the wild site, this is THE place to go.

  • Hawk Richards runs a small mega-site that is getting larger every time I visit. In addition to Hawks own excellent stories, you'll find works by other authors, a massive erotica link collection, and "The Dig" in both javascript and non-javascript formats.

  • Anne 747 maybe isn't a megasite but in addition to her huge archive she also has guest authors as well as a very impressive link library. Chances are, you already knew this :-)

  • Fictionmania is a large transgender story archive. For those unfamilliar with the term, transgender refers to the changing of one's sex by various methods (surgery, magic, or other means).

  • The Erotic Mind Control Story Archive holds stories dealing with mind control and sexuality.

  • Rogue Reviews. Lee Vine has been reviewing stories on ASS for a few months now and in the process has created a megasite with reviewed story links. This has become a genuinly useful site and only gets better as time passes!

  • Hoot Island EroticHA Archives A collection of fun, funny stories by some of the net's best publishing erotica authors.

  • Kristen's Collection I honestly don't know how this link slipped through the cracks in prior issues, because if there is a definition of a well done erotica site this is it. Stories, illisturated stories, and an overall festive atmosphere will keep you coming back for more.

Favorite Authors

  • Miss Behavin writes stories that have plot and texture yet at the same time are unbelievably sexy. Simply put, there's not a story on her site that I did not enjoy reading and she's very much on my required reading list.

  • Jane Urquhart author of the famous Janey series is an author who I read whenever I can. Her works are believable, erotic, and an absolute joy to read.

  • Sven the Elder writes wonderful cheating husband stories that are rich in detail yet don't make me feel like I'm getting into bed with a $2.00 hooker. :-)

  • Poison Ivan is one of the very best currently publishing usenet authors. These stories are profoundly poingant and moving and just damn good. (Note this site resides on Tripod which of course will annoy you with popup ads. Visit anyway, it's worth the trip).

  • The Bear's Den contain the collective works of M1ke Hunt, Kim (Ghost Ex Machina), DG, and Bear (Baird) himself. This site is a MUST have on everyone's bookmark list.

  • Sundance Tales Sundance is a new author on ASS but his debut story, "Amy visits for the summer" was an exceptional read and since authors generally tend to improve over time, this is definately a fellow to keep an eye on.

  • Uther Pendragon What can one say about Uther? Genius comes to mind. He consistently ranks so highly on the top 20 lists that it's surprising he doesn't suffer from altitude sickness. Here you will find stories by another author who could turn professional on a whim but decides to share his stories for free.

  • Xaviera Hollander. There's nothing amateur about this site. Xaviera is a pure pro in everything she does. You'll find the original "Happy Hooker", jokes, more stories, recipies, more stories, and interesting letters and links here.

Other Sites of Note

  • Hoot Island is the best place on the net to get turned on AND laugh so hard you'll have to call 911. Remember the old mother's clean underwear and hospitals cliche? I wonder where this one is covered. (Commercial free site!)

  • Amateur Erotica @ The Mining Co. -- This is an excellent resource for finding reviewed amateur content on the web.

  • Jane's Guide -- Positively the best and last word on what is good and what is not on the adult Internet scene. I also highly recommend her e-mail newsletter.

  • Richard's Relm -- has quality stories and quality links to stories in addition to other adult attractions.

  • Pleasure Zone -- This adult directory is almost an adult site in it's own right. The reciprocal link to PZ is on my entry page, this link is here because I actually use it.

  • GreenGuy is a very nice adult site with a great sense of humor, quality sites, and a cool logo. Persian Kitty, Ampland, and Pleasure-Zone gets all the press (and the visitors), but there's also a lot to be said for quiet hole-in the wall, quality sites like this. Again, the reciprocal is on my entry page, this site is here because I use it.

  • Lady Lynx is an adult directory for women .

  • Persian Kitty is one of the oldest, and definately one of the best, but for some reason (probably because everyone seems to know about persian kitty) you probably already knew that (grin).
