And I met her at one of "Bob's" parties. Bob, if you happen to be an outcase gaijin in Gunma, is a British guy who throws these great bashes at his place in Ota City (home of the Subaru Motor Corporation, incidentally), has for like 12 years or something like that. At this particular party there were about 8 gaijin (mostly Brits and Aussies, it was a source of culture shock for me) to every girl, and half the girls were taken. But Miwako wasn't.

She was right around 5', with a small, cute face, wavy hair, and glasses of the type that make a girl look smart. We talked, and sort of hit it off, I guess. We ended up outside taking a "walk" together (we were necking in the parking lot the whole time). She lived in Kiryu, home of nothing in particular. Kiryu is far from my house but I said what the hell and asked her out.

First date. Very bad. It takes a LOT longer than 30 minutes to go from where I live to Kiryu. So I was like 40 minutes late. We got some dinner and talked some more and necked in the car some more.

Second date. Much better. We met at Kentucky (which means KFC to anyone who speaks Japanese) in east Maebashi. We were going to drive to Mt. Akagi (local nampa point), but I conveniently had to go back to my house to get my camera (wink wink). We went inside and ended up, well, taking each other's clothes off. She was very shy, which turns me on. Her body was very small, no excess fat on her body, but not skinny either. Can't remember her nipples. This was a long time ago. Must be two years.

It turned out she was a virgin. I had sort of suspected it while doing it but I wasn't sure, and since she didn't say anything (and was 24 years old) I figured there was nothing to tell. Boy was I surprised. The second time, a few days later, was the best sex I have had up til now. She was less afraid, and I was more willing to do all kinds of things with her because the idea that this was the first time she had done these things was in me. My roughness earned me a nice shock the next morning in the form of a huge red stain (which also discarded any doubts I might have had about her virginity), which was really fun to clean/explain to my then-fiancee. (Yes, this experience represents my pre-marrital second doubts.)

I broke up with her a few days later because I was leaving for the U.S. to get married. She cried. I wished it could have been another way, but I loved (love) my wife and couldn't be happy without her. So that was that.

I wonder if I will get flamed for this. Interesting side note is that my wife expected that kind of thing, welcomed it even. "Even if you love curry rice," she has said to me, "you will get tired of eating it every day. If you have an experience with a girl, I understand, but whatever you do, don't sleep with the same girl twice, because you'll fall in love with her." This is the great question of karada-no-uwaki (unfaithfulness of the body) and kokoro-no-uwaki (unfaithfulness of the heart).
