Letters To Levi - An Introduction

-Edited by Alvo Torelli, 2017

Letters to Levi - the Unpublished Correspondences of Levi Oachs Denom.

This volume is intended to introduce the more important correspondence of Levi Oachs Denom, the famous impresario of sexual mayhem and mischief. We hope this edition of the Maestro's more important correspondence will help provide scholars with an important context for the further study of the man who dominated his field for many year, as well as valuable insights into the man and his inner workings.

Levi Denom was a man of many talents. In addition to his famous and unparalleled exploits into mayhem and perversion, he maintained an extensive youth-oriented on-line forum for assistance with all manner of innocent sexual questions. He answered literally thousands of request for advice. No question was too juvenile or ill-posed for the great man to respond to. Often, in the course of longer sequences of correspondence, Denom would answer his correspondents in real time, giving long hours of his personal time to help others - especially children. Truly he was a wonderful man.

For the most part Denom believed that young people should learn and benefit from the mistakes and needs of others and he openly published hundreds of pieces of advice correspondence for all to read. Indeed, it could be argued that Denom based his entire career on the principle of benefitting from the mistakes and needs of others, and hence these letters are critical elements of the study of his magnificent contribution. But Denom occasionally found his correspondences to be too personal, or perhaps too personally interesting, to be shared publicly. These are the series of correspondences we now include in this volume.

Since all of the correspondents represented here were children, we have painstakingly edited the letters for spelling, grammar and language. We feel strongly that it is the content of the letters, not their style that is critical for the scholarly work needed to truly understand the importance of the greatest executor of the art of mayhem - Levi Oachs Denom. That said, readers of a delicate nature are hereby warned that Levi's correspondents, especially the younger children, could sometimes be a bit graphic in their descriptions of problems and events. Indeed, some of the letters cross the boundaries of common decency and should only be read by the most serious of Denom scholars, who will no doubt appreciate the fully unexpurgated contents.

With no further ado we present to you: Letters to Levi - the Unpublished Correspondences of Levi Oachs Denom.
